January 6, 2020

What are you doing today that is helping you and the people who work for you, align with the future your trying to create?

TRANSCRIPT

When we talk about wanting to do something, creating the why, making sure that you have made the connection between what you're inspired about and, what you're asking people to do. You wanna be enrolling them in that future.

The future is a possibility that you are creating.

And remember, when you're creating the future, you're creating that in your speaking. You're creating that in your being. I'm being the future that I'm committed to. That future isn't fully existing yet.

It's something you are coming from.

When you are coming from that future possibility, you start to see evidence of the thing you're creating today and you wanna point that out. You wanna show people what are we doing today that's already aligned with this future possibility that we're creating? So you could call it a bridge. You're making the bridge between what you're committed to and what's happening today. People get motivated by feeling that future and creating that future inside of them and then acting. So the actions that they're taking is coming from that possibility that they understand, they think about, they live, they own themselves.

So when you talk to people, you wanna have them see the what's in it for them. The more that you can speak about the future that you're creating in terms of how it could impact them in their lives, they will start to be able to see a new future, a new possibility.

Everybody has a say in the future and everybody has a say in the present. That means every one of you has the possibility of impacting the company and making the company better every day.
